3.4.1 One half of the district committee posts shall be elected in Gubernatorial election years and 1 half of the district committee posts shall be elected in Presidential election years.

3.4.2 Committee members are to be elected by Party District Caucus.

Party District Caucus is limited to all declared members of the Democratic Party of Chatham County. At the time of the scheduled election, District Captains will hold and maintain a list of all qualified Electors and qualified Committee Candidates. Only verified Democratic Party of Chatham County members who reside in a particular County Commission District may vote for a member from that District.

WEST & EAST CHATHAM: Two executive Committee members living outside of the District will serve as moderators.

ALL ELECTIONS WILL BE HELD VIA ZOOM (VIDEO OR BY PHONE) OR OTHERWISE REMOTELY AS DETERMINED BY THE DISTRICT CHAIR!

Caucus instructions will be distributed by the District Captain or a designate immediately prior to the Caucus.
Elections will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. (EST/EDT) with a breakdown of the platform, rules, and candidate discussion. Candidates for the Committee should plan to be in attendance for the duration of the Caucus.
Voting will commence no later than 6:30 p.m. (EST/EDT) with all Party District Caucuses ending at 7:00 p.m.
Candidates receiving the highest numbers of votes shall be elected, and shall be elected in order of the number of votes until the district committee posts are filled.
