
David Leonard Campbell, a native of Savannah, GA and grew up in Garden City, GA.
David attended the Savannah Chatham County Public Schools and was a graduate of Robert W. Groves High School in the year 1979. He later attended Savannah Area Technical College, earning a degree in Marketing and Management. He also attended Gupton Jones College of Funeral Services in Atlanta, GA. He is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 30 years and has served as Chairman, and Treasurer of District #1 of the Georgia Funeral Practitioner Association, Inc. where he presently serves as the 2nd Vice President.
David is also a member of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association where he once served as the Governor of District 5.
He is also a member of the Falcon’s Social Club, Alpha Gamma Chapter of Epsilon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity, 100 Black Men of Savannah, Hilton Lodge #2 of the Prince Hall Free and Accepted Mason.
David has served on several boards, Garden City-Savannah Community Organization, and the former Chairman, Chatham Area Transit Authority Board, the Economic Opportunity Authority Board (EOA), the Georgetown Community Organization Board.
He is a member of St. Paul CME Church where he serves on the Steward Board #1, sings in the Mighty Male Voices Choir and a member of the Sunday School.
David has well spent over 40 years of dedication to the funeral industry. He is Licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina, and is the proud owner of Campbell & Son’s Funeral Home. He is the loving husband of Dorothy Horton Campbell and the father of four children and grandfather of 13.
