Meet CCDC Vice Chair, Robert Bryant

Dr. Robert Bryant is the 1st Vice Chair for the CCDC. Bryant, a former Democratic Nominee for the Georgia Public Service Commission, is a native of Savannah, Georgia and graduate of Windsor Forest High School. He currently resides in the 5th district and supports his mother and father as a caretaker.

Bryant graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Public Relations and a M.Ed. in Higher Education. He later completed a Ph.D. in Adult Education where he researched diversity leaders who work in organizations. His community activism started when he realized the need to advocate for marginalized communities, especially given his passion for social justice. He is affiliated with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and is financially active with the Beta Phi Lambda Chapter seated in Savannah, GA. Additionally, he has served as a post-seat holder for the CCDC in the 5th district where he has helped re-engage constituents in the matters of local and state issues. He is a member of St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church and is connected with the spiritual community at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA.

Bryant is involved with the day-to-day operations of All Things Relevant Media and O.U.R. Black Media, a multifaceted media consulting firm that supports the public relations needs of individuals or organizations.
