Chatham County Democratic Committee creates TIKTOK Challenge to encourage Voting

Savannah, GA December 15, 2020

With early voting underway, the Chatham County Democratic Committee (CCDC) has taken to TikTok to raise awareness and motivate young registered voters to get out and vote on January 5.

The CCDC is challenging registered Chatham County Voters between the ages of 18 and 25, to participate in the #CCDCGeorgiaTIKTOKChallenge. Participants must come up with a creative TIKTOK video motivating young people to vote on January 5th. The deadline for entry is December 19. Winners will receive a PS5 to be given away on December 21, just in time for Christmas.

“Georgia voters have the opportunity to decide the future of our nation.” said Jay Jones, CCDC Chairman. “The 18-25 group is the largest voting group in Chatham County and the future of our country is genuinely in their hands. Our hope is that this challenge will encourage young people to motivate each other to make a plan and vote on January 5”.

Details are located on the CCDC web site.
